About Me
I am a family medicine physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and I primarily focus on treating adults. I am especially interested in diabetic and hypertensive disease management. I believe in collaborating with my patients to help them maintain their health and prevent complications of acute and chronic illnesses. I think patient care is best when it’s a team effort.
Working in family medicine allows me to develop long lasting relationships with my patients, which is something that’s unique to my field. It’s what attracted me to family medicine in the first place!
My favorite part about working about Ohio State is the opportunity to educate future family medicine physicians. I also enjoy the progressive way in which we provide care to our patients. Medicine has the ability to leave an impact on individuals’ lives as well as communities as a whole.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Hark does a great job of explaining rationale for his recommendations. He is always friendly and kind. Doesn't just order tests without a rationale. Takes time to listen and understand my health concerns.

This was not my usual care provider. He came into the room, greeted me personally, smiled and immediately connected with me. He had looked at my chart and knew the basics about me. He asked good questions, explained his thinking and told me he saw us as a team solving my health issue together. Fabulous!!

Dr. Singh is the best doctor I've ever had, hands down. He truly cares about his patients. He is very thorough in his care, and regularly does blood work and testing to pinpoint the true cause of any issues I'm experiencing. Surprisingly, many other doctors I've seen throughout my life haven't done that. Every time I see him is educational, as he explains my issues and the causes in layman's language.

I am very satisfied and pleased with the care given to me by my PCP: Dr. Harkiran Singh. He seems very knowledgeable and genuinely interested in providing the best medical care. This was my first exam by Dr. Singh, as I recently relocated to Columbus and needed to establish myself with a new PCP. But I plan to remain a permanent resident of Columbus, so I would like to continue receiving my primary care from Dr. Singh and being his patient long term.
