About Me
I am a radiation oncologist who specializes in treating patients who have been diagnosed with gynecologic cancers. My clinical interests include conformal radiation, intensity modulated radiation therapy and high-dose-rate intracavitary and interstitial brachytherapy.
I'm also a member of the Cancer Control Program at the OSUCCC – James, where my research focuses on cancer survivorship and side effects associated with radiation therapy and brachytherapy, which is the treatment that is based on the insertion of radioactive implants directly into the affected tissue. Brachytherapy can negatively impact sexual function and quality of life for women with gynecologic cancers.
In addition, I have published on techniques for cardiac sparing for women receiving radiation for left breast cancers, and I am participating in national clinical trials that are accruing patients for gynecologic malignancies.
I have authored or co-authored publications in several scientific journals, including Journal of Radiation Oncology, Annals of Surgical Oncology and Technology in Cancer Research and Treatment. I am also a member of such professional organizations as the American Society of Radiation Oncology, the American Brachytherapy Society and the Alliance for Clinical Trials for Oncology.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

She was very kind and very patient. She listened my questions and took her time to answer my questions.I am grateful for the care I have received. Best of all she stopped my cancer from spreading, for that I have no words that can fully express my thanks to her!
Was very nice and explained everything to where you could understand it. Took a lot of time with me over the treatment option.
Dr. Quick made time to answer my questions and to explain the treatment. Her confidence and understanding always made me feel secure in my care.
