About Me

I’m an endocrinologist who specializes in treating patients with thyroid cancer and thyroid nodules. At The Ohio State University, I serve as director of the Benign Thyroid Disorders Program in the Division of Endocrinology, where I am also a professor. My research interests include management of iodine-refractory thyroid cancer and salivary damage after radioiodine therapy. Additionally, I’m proficient in speaking medical Spanish. I was named to the Castle Connolly list of “Regional Top Doctors” from 2015 to 2019, as well as being rated in the top 10 percent of physicians in the nation for patient satisfaction in 2017.

I’m involved in several research projects and clinical trials, serving as principal investigator on three studies. I’ve been published in a variety of peer-reviewed medical journals and have presented my findings and lectured all over the United States and internationally in India, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Italy, France and Puerto Rico.

I feel privileged to be part of The Ohio State University and I’m especially proud to contribute to the work we do here at the OSUCCC – James. By providing cutting-edge research and delivering superior, individualized care to each and every one of our patients, we aim to create a cancer-free world.
