About Me
As a physiatrist, I specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation, specifically non-operative spine care and electrodiagnostic testing. I particularly enjoy meeting and talking with my patients and identifying the best way to assist them in achieving their highest levels of function and quality of life.
I believe that all patients have distinctly unique backgrounds and life situations. When formulating a treatment plan for a patient, it’s very important that the treatment techniques are flexible as well as specific to each person.
The teamwork and multidisciplinary approach, as well as the multitude of resources available here are what make my job at Ohio State so unique and special. I also have the expertise and support of many talented colleagues.
In my free time, I really enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family. I also enjoy reading, as well as spending time outdoors.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Crusty and argumentative! Told I "could just leave if I wanted" when I was confused about procedure being done, and asked questions.
He listened to me and was very understanding of what I was saying. Friendly, explained things well. I would recommend him.
I saw Dr. Vetter for an EMG. He remembered me from when I accompanied my husband to see him. We discussed the reason for my test & what could be causing my symptoms. Very helpful.
He is great, very personable.
I had an EMG done and it was very painful and I jumped because he didn't tell me what it was going to feel like. When I jumped he told me to be still. So abrupt and unfeeling. He then said if you don't think you can make it thru the test tell me now instead of waiting until we're almost done. I thought that was brash and rude.
