About Me
I practice general obstetrics and gynecology. It’s a privilege to work with so many wonderful patients throughout their lives. I appreciate the opportunity to help them meet some of life’s greatest joys and challenges.
It's important to me to engage my patients in their care. Together, we can find health care approaches that best meet their individual needs. I enjoy accomplishing this while also maintaining best practices recommended by evidence-based medicine.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. She's always nice and caring when I see her
Dr Stafford was very kind and professional, she fielded all of my many questions and helped reassure me.
Dr. Strafford always takes the time to listen and address my concerns. I appreciate her kindness and patience.
She is, as always, amazing. She talked me through all the test results, explained why I didn't need to be very anxious about it, and we dealt with some side issues with some referrals. I feel like I'm much calmer after my cancer scare, and that I am very much less anxious. We are taking some proactive action regarding pain.
I have to many positive experiences. My doctor really listens to me. When figuring out next appointments and remembering functions or events each other have or having really deep conversations besides medical questions she's really great.

Strafford had clearly read my chart and asked lots of helpful questions, ordered the tests I wanted, and I felt listened to -
I feel like the doctor does not ask enough question about female health. Does not ask questions to investigate health or prompt responses.
Dr. Strafford is always engaging. She listens to my concern answers ?'s and explains pros/cons of options/recommendations.
I have a great deal of respect for my clinician and I would recommend her care for anybody.

Dr. Strafford is very kind and thorough. My health has improved, even though I am 85 yrs. old. All this is because of Dr. Strafford. She encouraged me to have surgery and helped set up a strong team to do it who were also caring and kind. She has been a blessing to me and my family.
Dr Strafford is the best provider I've ever had. She's compassionate, but very clear in providing information. She's thorough, yet very efficient. And she listens to her patients, while remembering everything about their history that could cause questions or concerns.
Our Dr was great. She kicked butt and delivered our baby and I pushed for only 40 min.

My baby was suddenly measuring 3 days behind and I told Katherine I had anxiety because of a prior loss. She said "look, at this point, either your baby is alive or they're not. Today, they're alive. I can't tell you what happens tomorrow." She acted annoyed by my questions. Most questions: She cut me off before I finished asking, and answered my question with something COMPLETELY irrelevant b/c she didn't hear what I was actually asking. She was cold, rushed through everything, and did not say "goodbye" - She just walked out.
I had received an abnormal mammogram report the day before appt. Dr. took extra time to explain report and possible care options. Answered all my questions.
Dr. Stratford is wonderful. She is compassionate and explains all possible options very clearly and easy for me to understand with pros and cons. And she respects my thoughts/feelings. Her bedside manner is also great and she always makes me feel comfortable. I fully trust Dr. Stratford and I have nothing but good things to say about her.
She has always been a wonderful provider. Help me through some tough times, always listens non-judgmentally.
She listened, and respected my issues with trauma. Seemed a little detached this visit but still friendly.
Dr. Strafford always does an amazing job as our OB/GYN. I've seen her for years and no matter what is going on she goes above & beyond expectations. She always goes out of her way to be there for her patients as well. I'm very thankful to have her as my physician.

I need extensive explanations about my health problems. The explanations are fine but several times I admit to not following the help given and later causing me to have greater health problems. My care provider deserves extreme praise for helping me even after I resisted her good advice -
Dr. Strafford is the best doctor that someone could ask for. She listens to your health concern and help you understand more about it. Thankful I have her as my doctor.
