Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Dr. Bhatt is a compassionate and very relatable physician. I'm so glad that I found her practice. Over the past year under her care, my health has improved greatly. I feel very well looked after. She is a thoughtful listentener -- especially when considering the impact of other pressures in my life such as the past critical illness of my elderly mother. I admitted that I was not always able to eat a healthfully as I would have liked during that two-month period when I was spending many hours at the hospital and then skilled nursing for her care. When I get good test results, she motivates and encourages me. But she also doesn't sugar coat the realities. I'm sure that if my test results were not as good as they've been during my past two visits, she would be firm and possibly even a bit stern. She was when I first came to her. When my initial test results were poor, she took rapid actions to schedule me with appropriate team members for their expert supervision. She monitored my case closely and I felt very personally cared for. I seriously believe that she has that special ability to connect with her patients in a way that can inspire their drive to work hard to improve what they can about their own health. I cannot imagine seeing anyone else as my PCP henceforth.

I have enjoyed being Dr. Bhatt's patient for many years - I think she is an A+ doctor. Her patients are lucky to have her be their doctor. On this particular morning, she was especially kind and friendly - and even prepared a letter to extend my membership time with the Martha Morehouse pool for pool exercise.
