About Me
Timothy Obarski, DO, FACC, FACP, is a cardiologist and an assistant professor of clinical internal medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Obarski earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete his residency and fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Obarski received multiple awards while in school including the Chief Cardiology Fellow Award, Clinical Research Fellow Award and Intern of the Year.
Dr. Obarski is involved with the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians as a Fellow and serving on numerous professional committees. He is a founding member and past president of the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echo Labs, and on the board of directors of the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission.
Dr. Obarski is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Obarski’s clinical interests include transesophageal echocardiography, mitral valve dysfunction, pericardial disease and nuclear cardiology.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Dr. Obarski is great - he listens and doesn't discount me/my symptoms. When I've asked for a change in meds, he's receptive to listening to why. I really like him and would happily recommend him to friends/family.
