Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Dr Calligeri is absolutely amazing!
I would walk a mile on my eyelids to keep Dr. Caliguiri as my primary care physician. She is thorough, she is deliberate, she sees the whole person. Her strength in my view is that she earnestly takes a multivariate approach to health care with the intent to extend my longevity. She challenges my habits that are not particularly healthy. Since I am in good health for my age, she makes specific prevention activities. Moreover, she holds me accountable in ways that convince me she has my best interests at heart. If every physician practiced like Dr. Caliguiri, we would have a much healthier nation and fewer malpractice complaints.

My care provider is full of good information. Sent me for a follow-up thyroid test. Discussed the importance of getting enough protein, suggested methods for measuring protein intake. Aware of the importance of that in the aging process. Takes all the time needed to talk with me.
