I’m a gastroenterologist specializing in patients with pancreatic, biliary and other digestive system diseases. I am an assistant professor in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, and serve as the medical director of The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center Main Endoscopy Center, as well as program director for our Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship Program. My main area of interest is Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography (ERCP) in the treatment of both benign and malignant disease of the pancreas and biliary tree.
I received my medical training at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and I completed my Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Louisville Hospital. I subsequently did Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston Texas, followed by additional training in Advanced Endoscopy at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.
My research focuses on various digestive diseases, including the treatment and diagnosis of digestive system cancers. I have been published in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and collaborated with other medical professionals on various applications and abstracts. I’ve also presented my research at several regional and national meetings. In 2015, I received The Good to Great Award for improving my patients’ lives, an honor bestowed from the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
