About Me

As a primary care physician, I am there to guide and educate my patients. Patients have a responsibility to themselves and their families to engage in their own care. I want them to be as healthy as possible. I also want to help patients manage their chronic disease and provide self-management support.

Although I practice complete family medicine, I have an interest in improving blood pressure control in the primary care setting. I’m also interested in sports medicine and health care policy.

What I enjoy most about The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is the ability to be on the forefront of innovations in care as well as working as a team with other health care providers.

In my spare time, I enjoy attending Ohio State football games, traveling with my wife, playing with my dog, watching movies and running.

    Dr Wexler is the best!

I have been going to Dr. Wexler for many years. I feel very comfortable talking with him about any issues. He has always given me great referrals as well.

  • Reviewed on Jan 24, 2024

Provider rarely looked up from the computer. Seemed more intent on getting through a checklist on the screen then actually looking at me. Follow up messaging/recommendations were confusing and initially contradictory. Finally, when, over myChart messaging, it was concluded that I would try a prescription, it took the provider another day and a half to "call it in" to the pharmacy. The provided seemed more interested in continuing the dialog over issues via the frustratingly asynchronous MyChart than an actual discussion where there can be a back and forth. I feel that questions I had during the visit which were promised answers via MyChart were never satisfactorily answered.
