About Me
As an experienced family physician, I work together with my patients to help them achieve their best possible state of health, from babyhood to old age.
While women's health issues have always been a special interest, I enjoy the wide variety of people and problems that we treat in family medicine.
We treat the whole person, not just one part or problem. This is especially important for our older patients with many medical challenges, but helps patients of all ages. It is also important for the medical students we are training for the future.
I believe that you can never outgrow your family physician.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2022, Dr. Bartman has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Very informed. Highly experienced.
The provider was very attentive and answered all my questions. She had a student who was very good as well.
Very good
Always great
My doctor is very gentle, and takes seriously my health affairs.
Mrs Bartmon is one of the most thorough Doctors I have ever encountered.
Great doctor for me. Always takes time for all my concerns.
Good
She is direct, clear when giving directions, and supportive.
I may have to wait awhile to see Dr Bartman but I know she takes all the time that is needed for each patient. I appreciate that.
Like she takes her time with me
Dr. Bartman is the best! She spends time with you and covers all medical concerns she has or I have!
I am new to this provider and it's my second visit to her. She is very thorough.
Always a good visit.
She provided excellent care for me
Very good
As always she was thorough, discussed issues completely. Reduced a prescription I no longer needed and eliminated one.
Dr. Bartman is and always has been a great doctor for me.
She takes her time, I did not feel rushed at all. I very much appreciate that.
Dr. Bartman is always very thorough and attentive to my concerns. I feel very comfortable with her.
There was an hour wait time to see my provider, but Dr. Bartman also took over an hour with me to go over everything & asked lots of questions. The visit & how she treated me was worth the wait.
Doctor was 2.5 hours behind schedule but did not rush my appointment. However, doctor used colloquial terms for genitalia that I did not feel comfortable with (I was there for a Pap smear)
Really like Dr Bartman
Dr Bartman is professional and treats me with respect.
Dr. Bartman is caring, compassionate & listens to my concerns as well as being thorough in her exams but she some times forgets to put in the computer everything we discuss when she finally gets to me.
She's always behind moves slow doesn't listen to patients
Always takes time to get up to date on my medical status.
Dr. B. Seems to genuinely care about my overall health
No bad experiences.
Friendly, attentive and professional
The provider made me feel like she cared about me and was determined to make sure I got better.
Always explains fully, so thorough & listens to me as well.
Very satisfied with Dr. Bartman.
Dr. Bartman is by far the best, most thorough provider I have ever been seen by.
I am so glad to have Dr. Bartman as my new PCP. She took the time to understand my issues and come up with both short and medium term care plans. She also messaged me at 8:30 p.m. the day I'd had a critical test to interpret the results for me.
I like Dr. Bartman she explains things I don't understand. She makes sure I understand when I ask medical question - she have been very good to me.
She was very nice and took care of my grandmother and listen to all our concerns.
Very good.
Detail oriented; cared about me as an individual; answered all questions
Care provider was very friendly and cordial
I love Dr. Bartman! She is my "earth angel." I can't imagine having a more professional and compassionate doctor. She is truly a blessing to me!
Always attentive and explained treatment plan well
VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL.
Provider was very good & listen and answer questions took her time going over things with me. Like her very much.
Listened to all of my concerns and willing to address them all.
The Doctor was great going over all areas. She just does tend to run very late.
She spent a lot of time with me.
Dr. Bartman is EXTREMELY thorough. She takes time to answer questions and she also a tremendous amount of questions herself to understand you background, health history, any concerns, etc. She is thorough - but as a consequence, she's also very late with the appointment. She needs to be give more time between appointments. Thorough is better than quick and on time!
I love Dr. Bartman and know that if she is running behind that it is for a good reason and that she will spend the amount of thime that I need with me.
Good.
I feel very blessed to have Dr. Veronique Bartman as my Primary Care doctor. She's caring, very thorough, doesn't rush through my visit, and I feel I can ask her any questions and get great answers. We talked about my medications. I am a Lung Cancer patient at The James, and having to take a Chemo-type drug, I try to keep healthy enough NOT to have to take other meds. I have muscle/joint pain and I had been taking tylenol, advil, etc and she explained to me why I would be better off taking a prescribed med because taking a lot of those others may cause bleeding. This advice made perfect sense to me. We discussed other topics as well. Dr. Bartman is a wonderful, compassionate doctor, and I feel confidant that we can work as a team to better my health.
