At the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, it begins the moment you enter any of our main entrances where you'll pass through a passive weapons detection system. The state-of-the-art technology keeps everyone safe without slowing down your arrival to your destination. This system has no known health risks, so people who are pregnant, have implanted medical devices, or use mobility devices can pass through the system safely. When you arrive, you'll simply walk through the detection system at a normal pace without the need to remove any belongings. If the system detects an item of interest, an ambassador will pull you aside for a secondary screening. [Text on screen: Weapons will be confiscated - Firearms - Knives/blades - Stun guns/tasers - Mace/pepper spray - Other dangerous items] It's important to note that all of our medical center properties are 100% weapons free, and if a weapon is brought to any of our entrances, it will be confiscated. Please plan ahead and leave any weapons or dangerous items at home. Creating a safe and healing environment supported by technology like our Arrival screening system is our top priority. We look forward to caring for you and your loved ones. [Text on screen: The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center] [Music fades]
