Guess: Yeah, so what I've enjoyed the most is giving the opportunity to learn about the academics, the research and the clinical care that's provided here at Ohio State and how they all intersect to support a common goal. Like: Why should someone apply to be a Buckeye Pathways summer intern? Guess: I think that someone should apply to be a Buckeye Pathways summer intern because you're provided the opportunity to get to network and connect with big professionals, a part of the university, and also understand the inner workings of the health care system. Like: What is something that you'll take away -- that you learned from this summer? Guess: Something that I will take away from this experience is a newfound appreciation for all members of the health care system, whether that be a clinician, a non-clinician, a leader, or just a staff and supportive role. We all play such a monumental part in ensuring that the health care system works in the way it does. Like: What I'll take away from this experience is to get to know your intern and really understand what they're interested in, who would they like to meet, what areas they want to pursue, and do that early in the experience because I think that has really enriched our time together and made it much more meaningful.
