[Music playing] [Text on screen: Reece Bergstrom, DO Uveitis and Surgical Retina Specialist Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences] Reece Bergstrom, DO: My name is doctor Reece Bergstrom, I am a uveitis and surgical retina specialist that works at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center and Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Science. I think innately most physicians want to help people, and I think attracting myself to medicine, it was this desire to serve a greater good or serve our local community to help people. I think number one is allowing people to continue to have sight and do the things that they want to do, whether it's art, driving or just be comfortable without pain. I really love looking for a good, proper pathway to provide clarity for patients and provide good treatment options for patients. We want to ensure that our patients understand complex medical situations in a simple way, to help them make good choices that align with their values and preferences. It never was my original plan to stay at OSU after fellowship, but we kind of fell in love, my wife and I, with the Columbus area, we also kind of deeply associate ourselves with the passion and commitment of its use model to patient care, innovation, kind of the commitment to the community as well.
