[Music playing] Recommended headache and migraine remedy products Kevin Weber, MD, MHA: Some of the non-medication or natural supplement options such as eye massagers or cold wraps, essential oils, those can be used and useful in migraine. The evidence for those is always challenging to find great data for those, and some of those interventions are difficult to test in a clinical trial. But they also are pretty low risk and low harm and can benefit a number of patients. For instance, peppermint oil or lavender can sometimes be used as a rescue treatment in migraine patients. I have a lot of patients who use cold compresses, cold wraps, cold packs, or even heat, especially if they have a lot of muscle tightness and tension as part of their headache disorder. So those sorts of treatments can be helpful and they usually are pretty low harm, although the evidence that they provide great benefit is also limited.
