The really neat thing about LASIK surgery is the further technology that we've developed in order to make this process easier and more accurate.

Currently in my practice, we have a 94 percent chance of getting you to see 20/20 after the LASIK surgery.

In the past, you used to have to use a blade to create a flap for LASIK. You would then open up that flap and treat the inside of the eye with the laser.

Now with this newer technology, we're able to use one laser to create the flap and a second laser to treat the inside of the eye.

By doing this we have lowered the risk of complications and also improved our outcomes.
