[Music playing] Julie Teater, MD: The most advanced treatments for substance use disorder include a combination of medication and therapy. At Ohio State, we continue to research new options for both medication and therapy. We do have FDA approved medications for opioid use disorder and alcohol use disorder. When looking for a facility to treat substance use disorder, it's important to recognize that at different points in treatment, patients may need different things. So at Ohio State, we have a comprehensive program that includes all the levels of care, from inpatient to intensive group therapies, residential and outpatient treatment. So having a facility that can follow you throughout your journey to recovery is important. I would also say having a facility that is able to treat both psychiatric and substance use disorders is important so that you can get all of your treatment in one place. And that is the case at Ohio State as well. The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center logo [Text onscreen For more information, visit go.osu.edu/SUDT]
