Nurse Practitioner (Job Opening 440252) - Scope of Position The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing health care services and education to adult and children patients within the parameters of a standard care agreement with an attending physician member of OSU Primary Care Network. Position Summary The Nurse Practitioner provides health care services to adult and children patients working in collaboration with a licensed physician member of the medical staff. Health care services provided include care during acute and chronic phases of illness, education and counseling of individuals and families, health promotion and prevention and referral to other health care providers and community resources when appropriate.

Education and experience

Current license and certificate of authority to practice as a CNP in the State of Ohio. Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program that qualifies the graduate to sit for the certification examination of a national certifying organization recognized by the Ohio Board of Nursing. Masters degree in nursing and national Certification as Family Nurse Practitioner required. Ohio Prescriptive Authority and DEA License required.
