Position summary

Staff Dietitian-Non-Exempt (Job Opening 439815) - Scope of Position Clinical Nutrition in the ambulatory setting provides nutritional assessment, counseling and education to OSUWMC patients and their family, staff, students and participate in and support OSUWMC community health and wellness initiatives. Nutritional care in the ambulatory setting is individualized and based on the nutritional requirements of the patient and/or specific to the clinic in which they work. Position Summary Outpatient Staff Dietitians are responsible for providing nutritional care to patients that may include nutrition assessment and care plan development and ongoing nutrition counseling and diet education according to department and medical center policies and procedures. Outpatient Staff Dietitians organize their work and set priorities to plan programs to meet the nutrition and customer service needs of the patient population they serve. They work collaboratively with clinic staff to identify nutrition priorities, develop outreach activities and complete nutrition program planning within the clinics they serve.

Education and experience

Registered and licensed (state of Ohio) dietitian. Previous work experience as a dietitian is required. Specialty certification in area of practice where available preferred.
