Position summary

Electroneurodiagnostic Tchngst (Job Opening 443905) - SCOPE OF POSITION Neurodiagnostic services encompass all technical functions with the Electroencephalography (EEG), Electromyography (EMG), Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), Evoked Potential (EP), and Intraoperative Monitoring areas. The laboratories are diagnostic areas of the Department of Neurology for patients with suspected neurologic injury and/or disease. The EMU is the in-patient diagnostic area for patients with suspected epilepsy. The EEG laboratory is staffed Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with 24 hour, 7 day per week on-call service. The EMG laboratory is staffed Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EMU is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. POSITION SUMMARY Under the medical direction of a physician and under the direct supervision of manager and/or the lead technologist, Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist I prepares patients and conducts routine EEG's, bedside EEG's neonatal EEG's and collects data pertinent to the interpretation of test results. Assists senior technologists or medical staff with complex recordings.

Education and experience

Requires one of the following:
- Minimum of 1 year Neurodiagnostic experience
 - Minimum of an Associates degree
 - Associates Degree in END Technology
