Position summary

Assoc Dir-Ambulatory Services (Job Opening 444329) - Scope of Position: The position is responsible for managing the business operations of the OSUMC CarePoint ambulatory location at CarePoint East that span over 115,000 square feet, and serves over 110,000 outpatient patient visits per year. Position acts as administrative lead for the building with responsibilities for market development for all programs offered within the facilities, revenue cycle management, environment of care, customer service and property management. Position Summary: The position is primarily responsible for directing the business operations of the center inclusive of market development, pre-registration, registration, budgeting, financial management and medical information management support for the facility. The position also oversees the day to day staffing and operations of the hospital based registration areas of the facility, as well serves as the building's primary operations coordinator for the facility with specific responsibilities including customer service, interpretative services, building safety environment of care, and the building's facility management.

Education and experience

Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar degree required. Master's in business or health care preferred. Experience in market development, registration, billing and/or financial management position in a health care practice and/or hospital required
