Position summary

Imaging Supervisor (Job Opening 444612) - The Imaging Supervisor can report to managers, associate directors and/or the director of imaging, and has the ability to supervise employees in the work setting within the department. Imaging Services at OSUWMC encompass all Radiology and Imaging Services across the Health System, including but not limited to imaging services in Interventional suites, MR, CT, Ultrasound, Plain Film Radiographics, ORa??s and ERs, with services across multiple hospitals and ambulatory imaging sites across Central Ohio. Services rendered provide invasive, noninvasive and therapeutic procedures for the diagnostic, treatment, and prevention of disease for inpatient and outpatient populations. OSUWMC provides care to patients with service 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. The supervisor may be required to travel among all sites and work as a team to provide high quality imaging services to our patients. Position Summary The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center is an established healthcare facility where the safety and quality of care to our patients and employees is number one. This is a middle management position providing supervisory coverage for the Department of Radiology. Responsibilities of this position require knowledge of hospital, and departmental policies and procedures, allowing independent judgement to their interpretation. The duties include provision of managerial and clinical links between all services within the medical center. The job requires impeccable communication and team skills, with the ability to problem solve on the spot.

Education and experience

Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Science degree with an advanced imaging registry, or advanced imaging registry plus 1 year supervisor experience in an imaging facility. Must have experience with EMR, timekeeping systems, and imaging informatics systems. Should have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and other Microsoft products.
