Position summary

Grad Med Training Coordinator (Job Opening 435802) - Serves as Graduate Medical Training Coordinator for all educational activities for the Division of Vascular Diseases & Surgery in the Department of Surgery; provides academic program support to the Program Director, Associate Program Director (APD), fellows, residents, and Division Administrator; assists with facilitating successful completion of training objectives by residents and fellows; serves as a point of contact for residency and fellowship programs providing information and data to faculty and education personnel and interacting with the residents and fellows, external departments and outside institutions; prepares and distributes correspondence, reports, schedules and presentations; participates in the planning and makes arrangements for educational and team building activities for the residents and fellows; assists with major CME and non-CME events organized by the Division; carries out directives within the established department guidelines and procedures; other duties as assigned.

Education and experience

Per CCS Specifications. Six months experience (600 hours course work or training) in customer service or communications, including researching, analyzing & interpreting information; six months experience (600 hours training) in operation of spreadsheet, publication, and/or presentation software and related computer equipment; three months experience (300 hours course work) in supervision management; three months experience (300 hours course work) in interviewing. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
