Position summary

Assoc Dir-Phys/Fac Recruitment (Job Opening 442120) - Scope of Position: The Department of Human Resources Shared Services supports the staff and management of The Ohio State University Medical Center. Services provided include: recruitment, education, OD/leadership development, training, HRIS, Payroll, Compensation, etc. The staff of the Department of Human Resources is available to staff, faculty and administrators to provide assistance in all Human Resources matters. The staff is designed to facilitate the implementation of human resources policies and programs and the resolution of human resources related problems. Position Summary: The Associate Director of Physician/Faculty Recruitment is responsible for service excellence throughout the recruitment cycle and acts as a brand ambassador for The College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center. This leader is responsible for ensuring that candidates have a positive experience and understand the vision/mission of the medical center and the potential for their growth and success at The Ohio State University.

Education and experience

Bachelor's Degree required, Masters or Professional Degree preferred. Minimum 7-10 years of experience in related field. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to problem solve and manage change in a fast-paced, complex environment. Team orientation with the ability to integrate and engage all stakeholders. An in depth understanding of the talent and skills that typify a successful academic physician including penetrance in research, education and program building. The ability to identify the passion that leads to a successful career in academic medicine versus community practice. An ability to articulate the vision and strategy behind the WMC's goal and ambition to become a top 20 A.M.
