Position summary

Program Coordinator (Job Opening 442546) - Program Coordinator of the Educational Portfolio Program (ePortfolio), a digital portfolio system used by the Office of Medical Education in the College of Medicine to capture and access the profiles of over 800 medical students related to professional competency, academic performance, personal achievements, and demonstration of compliance to defined behaviors as a health care professional; collaborates with faculty leaders to develop, establish and implement the ePortfolio program, short & long-range goals and objectives, and operational policies and procedures; coordinates and oversees daily program operations, administration, and training; serves as a technical expert and primary contact for the ePortfolio information system; educates faculty, staff and students on the purpose, goals and objectives, and data reporting options of the ePortfolio system; collaborates in the development of comprehensive reports of individual student professional development and reference data; compiles and summarizes information and reference data to document program performance, value and impact; extracts, interprets and provides formative and summative evaluations of medical students academic performance; generates reports for outcomes assessment and exports raw data for analysis and evaluation for special projects; plans and coordinates academic activities and provides guidance on educational measurement, establishment of standards, test administration, performance assessment and methods of evaluation instructors and courses; administers, scores and provides results of both written and computerized examinations; coordinates and oversees ePortfolio coaching program; recruits and promotes competency based assessment program to prospective portfolio coaches; plans, coordinates and facilitates faculty development and coach training workshops and sessions; develops, publishes and distributes coaching and student coursework training and orientation materials; develops, coordinates and

Education and experience

Bachelor?s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required; experience in program planning and administration required, preferably in an educational capacity. Required successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
