Position summary

Graduate Med Training Coord (Job Opening 443775) - Serves as Graduate Medical Training Coordinator for all educational activities for the Department of Emergency Medicine (EM); provides academic program support to the Program Directors, Associate Program Directors (APDs), fellowship directors and Education Program Manager; assists with facilitating the successful completion of training objectives for the residents and fellows; serves as a point of contact for the residency and fellowship programs providing information and data to faculty and education personnel interacting with the residents and fellows, external departments and outside institutions; prepares and distributes correspondence, reports, schedules and presentations; participates in the planning and makes arrangements for educational and team building activities for the residents and fellows; carries out directives within the established department guidelines and procedures; other duties as assigned.

Education and experience

6 months experience (600 hours course work or training) in customer service or communications, including researching, analyzing & interpreting information; 3 months experience (300 hours course work) in budgeting; 6 months experience (600 hours training) in operation of spreadsheet, publication, and/or presentation software and related computer equipment; 3 months experience (300 hours course work) in supervision management; 3 months experience (300 hours course work) in interviewing. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
