Position summary

Executive Assistant II (Job Opening 455981) - The executive assistant supports and coordinates the administrative activities of the Chief Information Officer. This position will have the primary responsibility of coordinating and managing the day-to-day activities including business and executive communications functions, which include calendar management, writing, proposal and presentation development and project management. This position will also be responsible for coordinating participation at sponsored events. This position will involve interactions at all levels of the organization and the community. It will be responsible to develop and coordinate material and follow-up on request. This position will draft and compose letters, reports and proposals, develop presentations, arrange meetings and retreats, reservations, among other duties. This position may also be responsible for assisting with other assigned IT administrators' calendars.

Education and experience

This position will require a person with sound judgment, the ability to prioritize, the ability to delegate, supervise and manage people. This position requires the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions and recommend appropriate action. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are a must. Associate degree or higher in Business Management, Communications, Journalism or related field is desired, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Administrative experience of five years required. Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
