Position summary

Open Faculty Search (Job Opening 437928) - Open Faculty Search for Assistant or Associate level faculty member on the 12-month tenure track to teach in the Occupational Therapy program in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences; participates in curriculum development, program initiatives, student selection and advising; actively participates in service to division, school, college, university, professional and/or community service activities; maintains a research program; writes and/or serves as Principal Investigator on grants; publishes scholarly work in books and peer-reviewed journals and presents work at local, regional, national and international meetings.

Education and experience

Doctoral degree in Occupational Therarpy or related field required; demonstrable clinical, research or teaching experience required; strong record of scholarly activity required; 5+ years research and/or academic OT practice desired; national reputation for research in a focused area of inquiry desired; history of successful award of extramural grant funding desired. Individuals who have recently completed PhD and/or post-doctoral fellowships will be considered. Requires successful completion of a background check. Qualified candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
