Position summary

Sr. Consultant Digital Strategy (Job Opening 439982) - The Senior Consultant for Digital Strategy will be responsible for helping internal clients understand how to use digital solutions to meet customer needs.  They will lead problem solving sessions with internal clients, connecting the dots between the needs and desires of the customer, the market maturity of the digital solution and the internal readiness of the implementation. As new opportunities and digital solutions arise, they will proactively recommend and support implementation. They need to be creative, nimble, and innovative while also providing the voice of reason that ensures timely success. The Senior Consultant Digital Strategy will work with OSUWMC as multi-disciplinary Digital Strategy team, Information Technology, Corporate/Public Relations, Creative Services and the Healthcare Service Marketing teams to advance the OSU Wexner Medical Center digital properties in support of the organizational goals to improve national reputation, improve customer satisfaction and loyalty and optimize financial performance and efficiencies. He/she will have a leadership role in the evolution of a data-driven, digital-first organization. They need to have a solid understanding of healthcare and traditional marketing, while staying abreast of advances in digital user experience, marketing and analytics in healthcare and other industries.

Education and experience

Bachelor degree with at least 5 years of digital experience and professional experience successfully leading digital project teams from concept to deployment with demonstrated knowledge of a digital project lifecycle. Preferred experience working on complex, large-scale digital properties. Strong project and process management skills, PMP certification a plus. Experience with web/mobile analytics tools and using qualitative and quantitative data to make decisions. Demonstrated experience in applying innovative digital approaches to real world challenges.  Experience in managing vendors and people that do not directly report to them.
