Position summary

Sr Director-Capacity Managemen (Job Opening 440294) - The Senior Director for Access and Capacity Management is responsible for managing physician patient access activities to include all activities in physician patient access call center(s) as well as activities remotely located in ambulatory settings that affect patient access with a focus on services that support patient centered care and the operations of the ambulatory practice. Under the direction of the FGP/OSUP Executive Director, will lead the improvement agenda of ambulatory operations to improve patient scheduling, patient registration, provider template management, with a goal to increase clinical practice volume, re-align and redesign scheduling and registration activities to achieve financial and quality goals, and maximize service experience for patients/families, internal physicians, staff and referring physicians. Will work collaboratively with the hospital, outpatient ancillaries, outpatient clinics, and other system-wide associates / leaders to develop and implement efficient ambulatory access management and process systems that minimize rework, non-value added processes, and work-arounds, using the most productive match of technology and human resources. Will develop and facilitate the integration of ambulatory access policies and procedures, and will assist the Senior Associate Dean and CEO in directing and coordinating other aspects of the business and operational activities as assigned or delegated.

Education and experience

Bachelors degree in business management, or related field, or in a discipline related to the area supervised; Masters degree in a related field desired; considerable demonstrated success in a progressively responsible management capacity including direct experience in the occupation(s)supervised; strategic or long-range planning experience. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
