Position summary

Fellowship Program Mgr (Job Opening 442223) - Manages and oversees the fellowship programs with the Department of Radiology; develops and establishes policies and guidelines; implements, oversees, and enforces policies and procedures as they relate to the programs; serves as a liaison to faculty and organizations inquiring about the Department of Radiology?s fellowship programs; collaborates with Department Chair, Department Administrator, Vice Chair of Education, and Fellowship Program Directors to ensure compliance of fellowship programs with ACGME and the OSU GME office; oversees and implements required changes to programs; plans, conducts, and oversees program evaluations and studies; plans, conducts, and oversees internal and external reviews/reporting for accreditation purposes; oversees the contracting and credentialing process for incoming fellows; plans, oversees, and coordinates fellowship interview and orientation days; works with recruitment team to review and determine qualified candidates to interview for fellowship programs; In partnership with Department Finance Manager, develops and manages annual program budgets; administers approved budgets; monitors, reviews, and authorizes expenses related to the programs recruitment and activities; Serves on Radiology Education Committee; plans, develops, and implements new, novel, and innovative education initiatives to positively impact and grow programs; serves as liaison to student inquiries of application and program requirements; analyzes, interprets, and summarizes data for fellowship candidate evaluations; partners with Department leadership in the creation of new fellowships to meet the needs in the changing landscape of academic healthcare; Maintains alumni database, serves as the alumni liaison, and develops initiatives to stay connected through alumni outreach; implements and facilitates all faculty development activities, including program planning, correspondence, advertisement, CME applications, etc.; collaborates with Department Leadership

Education and experience

Master?s in education, business administration, or healthcare administration or an equivalent combination of education/experience required; considerable experience in program planning and administration is required; considerable experience and knowledge of medical education and fellowship training program requirements and guidelines required; experience in organization of program materials desired; computer literacy required with knowledge of Microsoft Office
