Position summary

Research Data Analyst (Job Opening 443781) - Functions as a Research Data Analyst to support the data collection, management and analysis needs of the Principal Investigator as a member of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology; designs and maintains scientific databases and dialogue management applications for the research project; confers with PI to identify and provide solutions for the collection and management of required data relevant to research protocol; identifies resources, data elements and issues to capture required data; plans, designs and manages coding of research data; ensures validity and integrity of data; identifies and resolves inconsistencies in data, data collection and software issues; develops and establishes new or revised research methodologies for collection, reporting and monitoring data; contributes to on-going research-related infrastructure development efforts.

Education and experience

Bachelor's degree in human ecology, biological sciences, computer & information science, or other relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required; experience using relevant statistical software and data management packages required; experience in Microsoft Access desired; experience in a research environment desired; excellent communications skills desired. Requires successful completion of a background check.
