Position summary

Program Manager (Job Opening 444145) - Under the direction of the HRS Office of Academic Affairs, the Program Manager of the Health Sciences program will work closely with the Health Sciences' division director and faculty to manage the Health Science program by developing, implementing and managing curriculum, programming, recruitment and advising materials, program policies, academic advising, and support services. Oversees the admission, graduation and recruitment processes for both online and traditional programs. Assists with course planning, enrollment forecasting, and curriculum management. Maintains schedule of Health Science courses related to course prerequisites, class rosters and other appropriate functions in SIS. Communicates important program and University information to students, staff and faculty. Primary point of contact for Health Science faculty to address concerns regarding students, enrollment, course planning, and other issues as necessary. Fosters existing relationship with the Lima campus. Responsible for enhancing existing and developing new relationships that assist with meeting the Health Science program's admission, retention and graduation goals. Collaborates with the School's Marketing staff to ensure regular maintenance and accuracy of the Health Science website as well as other appropriate School website pages and program publications. Responsible for the collection, maintenance and reporting, to the appropriate School and Health Science leadership, statistical, technical and other data for program, programming and policy assessment. This position requires occasional evening and weekend hours.

Education and experience

A Master’s degree in an appropriate field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required; experience in program planning and administration is required; excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills; experience with standard office practices and procedures; experience with preparing written documents of a moderate to complex nature desired; experience with development and delivering presentations, public speaking and event planning desired. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
