Position summary

Post Doctoral Researcher (Job Opening 434230) - Postdoctoral Researcher position to pursue specialized research training, education and experience, under the guidance of a scientific mentor, in the Department of Radiology; independently designs new analytical approaches and tools; performs experiments; independently develops and troubleshoots new experimental techniques and conducts research based on research emphasis of choice (i.e. MRI); collects and participates in analyzing data for reports for the purpose of grants submissions; participates in writing grant proposals; participates in writing of manuscripts and articles for publication and presentation; trains staff in imaging techniques; collaborates and seeks expertise from other labs; attends and presents research at local, national, and international scientific conferences, workshops, and seminars; supervise Graduate and Undergraduate students in the laboratory;

Education and experience

PhD or equivalent degree required; experience in imaging, specifically MRI, is preferred; Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
