Position summary

Post Doctoral Researcher (Job Opening 437471) - Post Doctoral Researcher to pursue specialized research in the areas of Diabetes, Metabolism and Cardiovascular Disease under the guidance of a scientific mentor in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the Department of Internal Medicine; designs and performs research projects; performs animal experiments; writes and maintains protocols; analyzes data and makes presentations; writes manuscripts and grant applications.

Education and experience

Doctoral degree in biological sciences or other relevant field required; Demonstrated experience in flow cytometry techniques and cell culture required. Experience in cellular and molecular biology research with a strong background in immunology desired. Requires successful completion of a background check; selected applicant may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen
