HRIS Sr. Analyst (Job Opening 428023) - Scope of Position
The Human Resources Department is responsible for managing operations of the Wexner Medical Center as they relate to staff. There are several areas within HR that service customers including employee relations, recruiting and talent management, Classification and compensation services, payroll and HRIS. The HRIS Analyst functions in the HRIS team.

Position Summary
The HRIS Analyst will serve as an expert in developing queries and reports regarding HR related metrics and statics. The incumbent will perform quantitative and qualitative analyses on a broad range of HR data and/or processes; make recommendations to HR leadership; provide information to both internal and external customers; serve as a resource to other HR areas regarding HR systems. The person will also work on analytics projects of various scope and complexity that drive organizational decisions. This position functions with a high degree of autonomy.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Considerable knowledge of PeopleSoft and PeopleSoft Query tools including SQL. At least 4 years or related work experience in HR analytics
  • Ability to maintain confidential data
  • Strong background in statistical analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Experience in HR analytics within a healthcare environment preferred
