Position summary

Facilities Project Analyst (Job Opening 439293) - Position Summary: Reporting to the Architectural Planning Consultant for the Wexner Medical Center, the Facilities Project Analyst has a key role in advancing the planning and design of a replacement hospital for University Hospitals. This is an exciting project that will have a long term impact on healthcare delivery at the Wexner Medical Center and improve healthcare services in the Columbus region. This person will be asked to serve several roles in advancing the design and construction of this project. A primary role is as a liaison to internal operational efficiency/improvement groups in a wide number of departments, incorporating information developed by these internal teams into the planning and design of the Hospital Project. A secondary role will be in keeping project documentation, including programs and design materials, up to date as designs change throughout the course of the project. Finally this position will be tasked with myriad general project duties in the advancement of a large healthcare project; including developing and facilitating meetings with a wide ranging number of internal customers, database management, communications strategies, content management, design materials review, and reporting requirements. This position will work with an extensive number of internal clients and external vendors, performing functions that support an environment conducive to delivery of high quality customer service and effective project operations.

Education and experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Interior Design, or Architecture is required. A minimum of 2 years experience, in-house or on a project basis with a professional services firm in the areas of healthcare planning and construction, or healthcare operations planning is required. Must have the ability to manage a large complex project/initiative that involves high risk and great impact for the organization. Must be able to manage multiple, complex tasks simultaneously with a focus on large and small details. The candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated leadership skills. Knowledge of Medical Center personnel, hierarchy, policies, and procedures are preferred. Previous work experience on OSUWMC's main campus.
