Position summary

Open Faculty Search (Job Opening 430778) - Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level faculty position on the 12-month clinical track to support the research and teaching mission of the Division of Anatomy within the Department of Biomedical Education & Anatomy; teaches new and existing Anatomy courses in the areas of neuroanatomy, gross anatomy, and histology; performs additional teaching as appropriate within the medical education anatomy curriculum; advises students; contributes to the scholarly activity of the division and school through supportive and collaborative roles; pursues a research agenda and service; participates in division and departmentfaculty meetings and committees and in professional associations; participates in divisional administrative duties as needed.

Education and experience

PhD or equivalent required; strong record of excellence in teaching, administration and extramurally funded research required; expertise in neuroanatomy, gross anatomy, and histology highly recommended. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
