My passion for family medicine began during the time I spent working in an Afghan refugee camp located in Iran. That same passion lives on inside me today.
I now provide care as a board-certified family practitioner here in the United States, and I am happy to enjoy a unique bond with my patients and their families. This allows me to engage in discussions that focus not only on short-term solutions, but also on long-term health goals. I believe health is the most important factor in anyone's life and it's a privilege to help my patients achieve better health.
Preventive services including health screenings and behavioral modification are an integral part of my practice. I treat patients of all ages from a variety of cultures, and tailor treatment plans specifically to each person's unique needs while actively involving the patient in his or her own health.
My areas of interest include both adults and pediatric age groups, especially in hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity. I am also very interested in preventive medicine.
