Clinical Interests

As a member of The Ohio State University Department of Family Medicine, I am able to focus on patient care, teaching and research. My clinical interests revolve around achieving wellness in the community that we serve. I practice obstetrics and have a special interest in women’s health issues and the procedures to keep them healthy. My passion is training new physicians and helping them to prepare to be leaders in their community. I enjoy the spectrum of education from teaching medical students and residents to mentoring new graduates. My research interests focus on quality and patient safety. I also have board certification in hospice and palliative medicine and advanced training in medical acupuncture. I feel privileged to care for patients and their families through the experiences and challenges of life.
