Experience and Interests

Betsy is a family nurse practitioner who graduated from The Ohio State University College of Nursing after completing the Graduate Entry Program. She has worked in an acute care setting for Adena Regional Medical Center as well as in family practice with Total Health and Wellness at Ohio State East Hospital. She currently works part time for Memorial Hospital in the Medication Therapies Center managing patients with COPD, heart failure and diabetes. Prior to her nursing career, she worked as an attorney and an IT consultant. She lives in Powell with her husband and three children, and enjoys fitness, baking and traveling. She is passionate about helping people with respect and patience and providing patient education to patients and families to help them best manage their disease states.
