With the continued prevalence of obesity, patients continue seeking surgical and non-surgical approaches to help with weight loss and the resolution of co-morbidities. For physicians, allied health professionals and nurses to provide the high quality of care, they must keep up with the current medical innovations and changes to pre- and post-operative care. The goal of this course is to educate learners on research, outcomes, new and upcoming procedures through didactics, patient panels and breakout sessions.
