Dr. Ko’s laboratory focuses on the application of genetic engineering and computational approaches in the design of biopharmaceuticals to manipulate their structures and functions. Dr. Ko’s current interests are tailoring and investigating a drug-candidate MG53 protein for the treatment of tissue injury and an anti-cancer peptide, ATAP (amphipathic tail-anchoring peptide).
