The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center Vascular Surgery Interest Group is a group of Ohio State College of Medicine students who have an interest in vascular surgery as a career. Vascular physicians advise the group.

The Ohio State College of Medicine Vascular Surgery Interest Group meets regularly to discuss updates and advancements in the treatment of vascular disease. Recently, 30 students got hands-on experience improving blood flow through ballooning and stenting on endovascular simulators brought in by Boston Scientific. They also learned about treating peripheral arterial disease. Additional programming is planned in the months to come. These meetings are organized by the Society for Vascular Surgery and Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society.
