What is the coronavirus and COVID-19?
Coronaviruses typically cause the common cold or other mild respiratory viral illnesses, but this new strain (SARS-CoV-2) can cause COVID-19, a much more serious illness that causes severe symptoms—even death—in some patients. Previous coronavirus strains include SARS and MERS, which occurred mostly in other areas of the world in recent years. Get details on cases in your area. What if I have an upcoming appointment?
Many visits can be scheduled as a telehealth or video visit, ask a member of your care team if it's available and appropriate. If you don't have a primary care provider, you can also utilize telehealth immediate care.
For all in-person visits, you can feel secure in the knowledge that our locations are safe. We've taken significant measures to minimize the risk of the spread of COVID-19 and worked tirelessly to ensure that our patients, visitors and staff are protected. You will be given a mask and you will be required to wear it for the duration of your visit. Visitors must adhere to our visitor policy.
