I am a medical oncologist specializing in thyroid, adrenocortical and neuroendocrine tumors. I received my medical degree from the NTR University of Health Sciences, Osmania Medical College, and received my master’s in public health from the University of Texas. I am board certified in medical oncology and hematology. Languages that I’m fluent in include English, Hindi and Telugu.

I’m a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and an associate member of the American Association for Cancer Research. I’ve been published in numerous journals, including the American Journal of Hematology, the Austin Journal of Medical Oncology and the Textbook of Uncommon Cancer, and my research focuses on treatment methods for cancerous tumors.

Working at the OSUCCC – James gives me the opportunity to learn from highly experienced clinicians and medical professionals. The James’ state-of-the-art facilities allow us to pursue cutting-edge research and apply that research to our patients’ treatment plans. Our patients depend on us during one of the most difficult times in their lives, and The James gives us the resources to provide the best individualized care possible. I’m very proud to be a part of it.

Consulting and Related Relationships

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

As of 03/28/17, Dr. Konda has reported no financial relationships with medical device, research and/or drug companies.
