About Me

I am a nurse practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience. I received my Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama and have been working at the OSUCCC – James since 2002, where I currently treat patients who have been diagnosed with blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma. More specifically, I specialize in blood and marrow transplants within the Division of Hematology.

As an advanced practice provider, I strive to manage cancer by treating the individual patient as a unique entity while utilizing a multidisciplinary approach. This is done by introducing every eligible patient to the possibility of a clinical trial in order to increase their chances of survivorship.

In addition to my role at The James, I am the specialty director of the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program at The Ohio State University College of Nursing. I also serve on the college’s diversity committee and as a member of the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses and the Oncology Nursing Society.
