In regards to patient care, I try to involve each of my patients in an active and trusting partnership. I provide them with well-rounded and comprehensive care to help them achieve optimal health.
Aside from being affiliated with a university that’s at the forefront of medical care, I enjoy working at Ohio State because I have been a Buckeye from the time I was enrolled as an undergrad in 1977 through the last 23 years as a member of the medical staff. I bleed scarlet and gray. I am proud of my 23 years as a staff member and I enjoy seeing many of the students I helped train become successful members of the medical community.
In my free time I enjoy attending Ohio State football games. I love sports and I was an excellent golfer prior to becoming a physician. I am proud of my Italian-American heritage, and thoroughly enjoy being a father.

More about my work
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 03/25/2016, Dr. Manfresca has reported no financial relationships with medical device, research and/or drug companies.
