About Me

I’m a certified nurse practitioner in the Division of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant Program at The James. I specialize in treating patients with Hodgkin’s and Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndromes and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. My daily duties involve treating patients who are receiving chemotherapy and radiation therapy, as well as caring for patients prior to receiving bone marrow and stem cell transplants.

Cancer treatment and care at the OSUCCC – James is different from most hospitals. Every provider has a specialty and devotes a dedicated amount of time learning about the current research, clinical trials and treatment options for their patients. We don’t hand out routine cancer diagnoses here because every patient is treated for their specific disease and circumstances.

My passion for cancer derives from personal experiences with family members and my desire to make every patient feel important, and I really enjoy being part of a team that is constantly striving for excellence. When I’m not working in the hospital, I continue to serve the community as the program director for a non-profit organization.
