About Me

I am a nurse practitioner in the Division of Medical Oncology at the OSUCCC – James. I received my Master of Science from The Ohio State University and have been working at The James since 2017, where I treat patients with lung cancer. I am passionate about working with my patients to provide the best possible treatment for their cancer while also focusing on their quality of life during and after treatment.

I believe in providing holistic, individualized care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. The James is dedicated to improving the lives of our patients and their families in all aspects, including the mind and spirit. Our JamesCare for Life program offers classes and resources focused on the improvement of the mind and spirit, and is a great example of how The James is different from other cancer hospitals. The faculty and employees at The James truly believe in improving the lives of anyone touched by cancer. We all work together to ensure that patients are provided the best tools possible as they undergo treatment, while also doing our best to make them feel welcomed and cared for as individuals.

The James is also dedicated to giving its staff opportunities to learn and grow as health care professionals. I completed a yearlong fellowship at the OSUCCC – James focusing on the unique needs and treatment of our oncology patients. This provided me the opportunity to see the multifaceted issues that occur during our patients’ cancer treatment and has given me the ability to better facilitate our teams to work together to reach the best outcomes for our patients. I also maintain certification as an advanced oncology certified nurse practitioner (AOCNP).
